Weekly Moon & Tarot Forecast (1–7 September)

Updated: Aug 31

ree

Welcome, The Sun continues its steady fire in Leo, holding an environment that calls us to rise into courage, radiance, and presence. It may feel liberating and powerful, or it may feel exhausting depending on what old beliefs and patterns are asking to be released. Either way, the invitation is to stand more fully in our knowing.

The Moon’s arc this week carries us on a journey of reclaiming what has been hidden, silenced, or exiled:

  • Ophiuchus invites us to shed old skins and tend to the parts of ourselves that have been protecting us from pain.

  • Sagittarius lifts our vision and asks us to seek truth with boldness.

  • Capricorn grounds our fire in steady, practical steps.

  • Aquarius turns us outward, inviting us to share our gifts with the collective.

This rhythm carries us from healing and shedding → to truth and vision → to steady grounding → to offering and sharing.

The Theme: The Nurturer

This week asks us to approach what is hidden with a nurturing energy, saying: I see you, I am listening to your full story. Much of what lives in the shadows is not against us — it is protecting a deeper part of who we are.

Just as herstories of women like Medusa or Baba Yaga were distorted to fit a narrative, many of our own inner parts have been pushed aside, silenced, or misnamed. These parts carry wisdom, and they are calling to be welcomed home.

By tending to these inner places with care, we create the ground for true expression and for sharing with the wider world.

With Ourselves and With Loved Ones

Reclaiming what has been exiled is not only an inner practice. We can also bring this energy into our relationships.

When we sit with loved ones, partners, children, friends - we can practice the same nurturing listening. Instead of rushing to fix or explain, we can say: I see you. I am listening to your full story.

Often, what feels hidden or shadowed in another is also protecting a deeper need. Meeting each other with patience, curiosity, and care allows these stories to come home. In this way, healing is not only personal but relational, it ripples through the spaces we share.

Reflections for the Week

  • What part of me has been exiled, silenced, or misnamed?

  • How can I nurture this part and listen for its full story?

  • Where am I ready to release what no longer serves me?

  • How can I ground myself in steady steps while staying close to my heart?

  • Where can I listen more openly to a loved one?

  • What gifts feel ready to be shared with the collective?

Practice of the Week

Find a quiet moment to sit with your inner child or a hidden part of yourself.Offer breath, warmth, or touch, and say inwardly: I see you. I am listening. Allow space for its story to unfold. Let its voice guide how you show up in the world this week.

You might also offer this practice to a loved one, creating a space where their story, too, can be received without judgement or interruption.
