In this post you will find the recording from our live session today. Our Thursday meditation and art circle is always free or by donation, and each week we spotlight a community in need of support. Watch here
This week we turn our attention to Ghana. Below you will find the post that shares the full context along with the link to sign the petition that calls for an end to anti witchcraft accusations and the dismantling of the camps that hold so many women. Thank you for taking the time to witness and to act. Read more
As we enter this week and next, the Moon is in Scorpio. Scorpio asks you to stop shrinking in order to soothe others. It asks you to sit in the truth of your own power and to let the parts you have hidden come home. If you feel called, join us every Sunday on Instagram at 10 am PST for our weekly live gatherings.
Art Prompt: One’s Greatness
In the recording we explored one’s greatness. A kind of greatness that has nothing to do with fame or hierarchy and everything to do with truth.
The word great comes from an Old English root meaning full, thick and abundant. Its deeper origin speaks of something that has swelled, grown and reached its true size.
Greatness was never meant to point upward toward superiority. It pointed inward toward a life that has expanded into its natural magnitude.
To speak of one’s greatness is to speak of the unique self rising to its true scale, no longer divided, no longer reduced, no longer held back by fear.
Reflection Questions
• Where have I stayed small in order to belong
• What part of me is ready to grow to its rightful size
• What does fullness feel like in my body
• What colours or shapes express the self I am becoming
• What would my life look like if I trusted my original magnitude
Hope to see you in circle next week.
Love, Danielle xxx
