Full Moon Reading and Ritual - August 19th, Monday

Welcome, dear sisters,

Firstly, I would like to thank you for being here and for connecting more closely on Instagram and through email. I am truly enjoying getting to know you all better.

Let’s explore the messages that have come through to guide us this week.

The full moon is associated with the element of fire, the mother archetype, and is a time to pause and fully receive the gifts from all your efforts. Allow everything to be seen and appreciated.

  • What has the past two weeks since the new moon brought you?

  • Do you remember the seeds of intention you planted during the new moon?

Let yourself be nourished and prepare to look at what might be holding you back or blocking you from what is ready to blossom within you.

As we head back into the darkness as the moon begins to wane, fear not the darkness. The womb is dark, the earth is dark; these are places of nourishment, growth, and mystery.

Collective Message

Lioness: Is there an area of your life that is asking for courageous, loyal commitment—one that you may not have fully stepped into due to fear of rejection or failure? There is a calling to embrace this gift. This may mean you also need to protect the relationship or your boundaries to fully immerse yourself.

Mantra: "I am courageous I am loyal to my truth"

Draining: Who or what is draining your life force? More specifically, whose dream are you feeding? Perhaps you’re drawn in by a shiny image or entangled in drama. Let it be seen. Your life is your most precious asset.

Mantra: "I reclaim my energy and focus on what nourishes my soul."

Word Magic: Observe your thoughts and pause before words are cast. Tune into the power of words. This applies to who you listen to and what you read, as it influences your experience of life and what you will come to manifest.

Mantra: "I speak and listen with intention, shaping my reality with mindful words."

Creator: You play an active role in your life experience. When you come to understand the language of nature, your body, and your guides, you will gain allies who will support, guide, and replenish you.

Mantra: "I am a conscious creator, in harmony with nature and guided by my inner wisdom."

Tarot and Oracle Readings

The Star

In Tarot, The Star card offers a vision of life stripped of external influences that distract you from your truth. It signifies a return to harmony, where you align with your true nature and the natural world. Just as animals contribute positively to their environment when left in their natural habitat, humans, too, can live in harmony with nature, avoiding harm, neglect, and abuse.

We have the tools within us—reflection, contemplation, meditation—to reconnect with this state of balance and remember our essence.

Following The Tower card, The Star comes as a welcome after a period of destruction and turmoil. You have endured many challenges, shedding limiting beliefs that once held you back. Now, you are discovering your essence and who you are beneath all the layers.

Dark Mirror Oracle: Today for Tomorrow (32)

Acceptance

"Hope resides in the present; it’s the foundation upon which we build our future."

It may seem like a trade-off: sacrificing the present to secure a better future, as ants do, or enjoying the present at the expense of the future, as cicadas do. Both choices come with a sense of bittersweetness. The constant tension between regret and remorse can be overwhelming.

But what if, for once, we turn our backs on this painful idea of sacrifice? What if we shed the constraints of this endless cycle?

Are you choosing to sacrifice the future to enjoy the present, or are you sacrificing the present to secure a better future? Is it possible to find a balance where you can embrace both a fulfilling present and a promising future? Reflect on how you can remain fully present in each moment while trusting your inner guidance to make choices that benefit both now and later.

Could the sacrifices you make be seen as honorable, or do they suggest that significant changes are needed to align more closely with the insights of this card? Consider what you might be avoiding to fully enjoy the present and what you might be neglecting in preparation for the future.

Shaman Dream Oracle: Drifter (14) - "Experiencing Life as It Comes"

Stop waiting for a detailed map; all you need is a compass pointing to your heart. To the ego, it might feel like you’re doing nothing or achieving nothing, leading you to believe that you’re merely existing.

However, this card invites you to question this notion and instead focus on how fully you can engage with the present moment. True fulfillment comes from being in full presence, experiencing life through all your senses, and embracing each moment as it unfolds.

This card encourages you to return to the presence of the heart repeatedly, listening deeply to the wisdom it offers. By doing so, you can discover new insights and inspiration that arise naturally.

Trust that everything you need and desire from the heart will arrive at the perfect time. The manifestation may not align with your initial expectations, but it will still bring about the internal experience you seek.

If your inspired insights begin to awaken your ego, causing you to want to organize or control the information, take this as a sign to practice patience. Allow yourself the space to wait and trust the process.

You will come to recognize what information is truly meant for you and when you are called to act as a channel for others. The key is to remain open and receptive, understanding that the journey itself holds valuable lessons and revelations.

Altar Inspiration

The full moon, with its radiant energy, is an ideal time to celebrate the gifts in your life and is linked to the element of fire. This lunar phase illuminates the opportunity for renewal and energizing both yourself and your crystals.

  • Candles (Red, Orange, Gold): Represent the fire element, symbolizing transformation and energy. Light them to celebrate and amplify the full moon’s power.

  • Incense (Cinnamon, Clove, Frankincense): Enhance the fire element and create a sacred space for your rituals.

  • Fresh Fruits: Add in the morning of the full moon and feast on the rise of the moon

  • Moon Water (Collected During the Full Moon): Used for cleansing and charging your crystals, infusing them with lunar light.

  • Goddess of Full Moon: Selene (Greek Mythology) & Artemis (Greek Mythology)

  • Gratitude jar: Filled with all you are grateful for.

Full Moon Connection Ritual

Purpose: To connect deeply with the Full Moon, feel her presence, and let her energy dissolve any barriers between you and your true self.

Supplies Needed:

  • A candle (preferably white, silver, or a color that resonates with the moon)

  • A quiet and comfortable space

  • A small piece of paper and a pen (optional, for writing intentions)

Ritual Steps:

  1. Prepare Your Space:

    • Find a quiet and comfortable space where you won’t be disturbed.

    • Arrange your space to be calming, with any items that make you feel peaceful (e.g., crystals, incense, soft music).

  2. Light the Candle:

    • Light the candle to invite the Full Moon energy into your space.

    • As you light the candle, visualize the flame representing the divine light and presence of the Full Moon.

  3. Sit and Center Yourself:

    • Sit comfortably in front of the candle. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.

    • Focus on grounding yourself and clearing your mind of distractions.

  4. Connect with the Moon:

    • Open your heart to the Full Moon. Imagine her light enveloping you, feeling her divine presence surrounding you.

    • Allow yourself to be fully present with her energy. Let her light connect with your heart, warming and soothing you.

  5. Feel the Presence:

    • Imagine any walls or barriers you have around your heart beginning to dissolve under the warmth of her light.

    • Visualize these barriers melting away, allowing you to reunite with your true self and your inner truth.

  6. Reflect and Receive:

    • Spend a few moments in silence, feeling the connection and any messages or insights that arise.

    • If you wish, write down any thoughts or feelings that come to you on a piece of paper.

  7. Express Gratitude:

    • Thank the Full Moon for her presence, guidance, and the energy she has shared with you.

    • Extinguish the candle with gratitude, knowing her light will continue to guide you.

  8. Close the Ritual:

    • Sit quietly for a few more moments to integrate the experience.

    • When you feel ready, gently close the ritual by taking a few deep breaths and coming back to the present moment.

Thank you for reading. Love,

Danielle
