Here is your meditation for the waning half moon :)

Let's begin,

Welcome to the Waning Moon. As we transition into the inner autumn of the moon's cycle, how does the energy of autumn make you feel? It might reflect how you're navigating this time.

With the moon’s light slowly fading each evening, moving towards the dark moon, we are invited to call upon our observant self to witness how life is unfolding. Have you faced any challenges or insights this week that you can no longer look away from?

Take a moment to reflect on last week's full moon. What insights or revelations came to you? You can explore deeper reflections through this [blog].

As the waning moon continues, what no longer serves you will eventually fall away. You might hold onto patterns or resist change, but in the end, love will rise while egoic desires fall.

Will you choose to play an active role in unhooking from what holds you back?

Many of us have been conditioned since our time in the womb to fit into certain roles, fulfilling expectations that may keep us from expressing our true essence. This is an invitation to break free and allow your authentic self to interact with the world.

Sidereal Astrology

The Moon in Cancer invites you to delve into your emotional depth, encouraging intimacy and compassion in your relationships within and around you. This phase is an opportunity to explore triggers and shadows, welcoming personal growth, and a deeper connection to your true self.

Meanwhile, the Sun in Virgo highlights the need for practical decision-making and self-improvement. You may face choices that bring discomfort, reminding you to honor what serves you and your family. Embrace the uncomfortable moments, as they will strengthen your foundations and enhance your resilience.

Sun in Virgo

☀️ Sun: Virgo

With the Sun in Virgo, there’s a focus on refining skills, self-improvement, and organization.

This energy encourages us to examine the rhythms of our lives—within ourselves, our families, and our communities. You may find yourself questioning your actions and patterns, noticing emotional intensity in children, experiencing disconnection or challenges in relationships, or recognizing a lack of time for self-care.

Imbalance during this time may manifest as perfectionism, excessive organization, or a struggle to allow for flow.

You might find yourself caught in a cycle of overthinking about what to implement or change, leading to self-criticism. Alternatively, you may feel overwhelmed and stagnant, reaching a point of exhaustion.

Reflection Question:

  • How would my day look if I created space for full presence?

  • What conscious and joyful choices can I make that support my evolution?

Moon in Cancer

🌕 Moon: Cancer (Water Element)

The moon in Cancer invites us to connect deeply with our emotions, nurturing a sense of intimacy and depth in our relationships. This is a time to truly meet and witness one another with profound love, showing up to explore the triggers, shadows, and deeper feelings that arise.

This moment welcomes a deeper exploration of areas that expand your capacity to engage with spirit and the unseen realms. Whether it’s shadow work, deep inner work, or esoteric practices, allow yourself to be guided by curiosity toward that which is not physical. This curiosity will lead your awareness back home to your heart, broadening your perspective to see situations from different angles.

Perhaps you're navigating something personally, working through challenges with loved ones, or delving deeper into a project.

Reflect: What is calling me to explore more deeply?

Tarot Reading

Tarot Reading

This reading, combining the Knight of Pentacles, Nine of Swords, and Eight of Pentacles, invites us to reflect on the balance between effort, fear, and mastery. The Knight of Pentacles reminds us that while repetitive tasks may feel mundane, they are the foundation of long-term success. However, the Nine of Swords signals that underlying fears or anxieties may be causing doubt or disrupting our peace of mind, urging us to confront and release these thoughts. The Eight of Pentacles provides the support and guidance we need, encouraging a return to our initial passion, cutting away distractions, and mastering our craft with dedication. Together, these cards ask for a recommitment to our path with steady effort, conscious awareness, and a deeper sense of purpose.

TOPIC: The Knight of Pentacles (Earth)

The Knight of Pentacles represents grounded energy, consistency, and steady progress. With the carefully plowed field behind him and the stillness of the light surrounding him, this Knight is deeply connected to the earth and the rhythm of slow, intentional work.

He is ready and willing to do the repetitive tasks, even if they feel mundane or boring because he knows that it’s through these efforts that lasting success and fulfillment are achieved.

This card invites you to bring awareness to an area of your life that may feel repetitive or stagnant. Is there a place where routine feels like a burden? Perhaps the monotony of daily tasks is starting to weigh on you. The Knight of Pentacles reminds you that even in these moments, progress is being made. Like the field that has been ploughed and prepared for the harvest, your consistent efforts are laying the foundation for future rewards.

Alternatively, this card could be a sign that something you’ve been working on for a long time is finally starting to manifest. You’ve taken action over and over, and now the fruits of your labor are beginning to flourish. There is a quiet but strong energy in the Knight, one that reflects patience and dedication.

However, if you’re feeling unfulfilled or bored, the Knight of Pentacles can also signal that you may need to reconnect with the purpose behind your work. Repetition can bring mastery, but if the heart is no longer in it, you may be simply going through the motions.

Reflect on whether you’re staying on course out of duty or out of passion. Is there a way to re-infuse energy into this aspect of your life, or is it time to shift direction?

MESSAGE: The Nine of Swords

The Nine of Swords shows a woman sitting up in bed, her head in her hands, overwhelmed by anxiety and fear. It's as though she has been awaken from a nightmare. On the bed, there is a carving of one person defeating another, while astrological symbols and roses decorate the quilt that wraps around her.

This card invites you to reflect on the thoughts or beliefs circulating within you right now. Perhaps you're already conscious of these thoughts, able to recognize that they aren’t supportive or nurturing. Or maybe they’ve been surfacing in your dreams, or through challenging experiences, asking you to take a closer look. What is the fear that is driving your actions or reactions?

The Nine of Swords calls us to be courageous enough to sit with these fears and examine them with clarity. Are they pointing to something that truly needs your attention, or are they unhelpful beliefs that no longer serve you?

Just becoming aware of these fears is powerful. Often, that awareness alone can dissolve them in an instant.

Sharing these fears with someone you trust can also be a potent way to lighten the load. Sometimes, having another witness your pain allows you to release it and see it from a different perspective.

It’s important to remember that these fears may not even be yours to carry—they could be beliefs or anxieties you've picked up from others along the way or carried on though our ancestral line, or maybe a collective fear.

The Nine of Swords offers hope: liberation is possible. You have the power to free yourself from these chains of fear and self-doubt.

SUPPORT: The Eight of Pentacles

The Eight of Pentacles presents a man who has stepped away from the distractions of his village, fully committed to mastering his craft. He works with precision and dedication, intent on refining his skills. This card is a powerful reminder to reconnect with the inspiration that initially set you on this path.

When life feels repetitive or dull, as we saw with the Knight of Pentacles, the Eight of Pentacles encourages us to come back to that original spark—the reason you chose this journey. Why is this important to you? By remembering the deeper purpose behind your work, you invite back the passion and focus that may have felt lost in the routine.

Slow, steady rhythms, though sometimes monotonous, will support the long-term unfolding of your vision.

It’s also a cautionary card, reminding you that boredom can lead us down unnecessary, distracting paths. This is an opportunity to realign yourself. How can you welcome full awareness, curiosity, and passion into your days?

Perhaps this is the moment to refine your skills, cut away distractions, and focus on what truly matters to you. There’s a message here to dive deeper into your craft or project, knowing that this commitment will not only serve your passion but will help you reach new levels of mastery.

This combination of cards is asking for discipline and devotion, but also a return to your heart’s calling—balancing the practical with the soulful.

Waning Half Moon Ritual: Let It Be Seen, Feel It, Let Water Take It

Intention: To release what no longer serves you, allowing emotions to be felt and transformed by the element of water.

Materials Needed:

  • A bowl of water (preferably from a natural source)

  • A small piece of paper and a pen

  • A candle (blue or white)

  • Optional: crystals (like aquamarine or clear quartz) for added energy

Ritual Steps:

  1. Create Your Space: Find a quiet space where you can sit comfortably. Light your candle to set the mood and invite calming energy.

  2. Set Your Intention: Take a few deep breaths. Hold the piece of paper and write down anything you wish to release—feelings, thoughts, or patterns that no longer serve you.

  3. Let It Be Seen: Read aloud what you’ve written, allowing yourself to feel the weight of those emotions. Acknowledge their presence without judgment.

  4. Feel It: Spend a moment reflecting on how these emotions manifest in your body. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths, inviting those feelings to surface fully.

  5. Let Water Take It: Dip the piece of paper into the bowl of water, symbolizing the release of what you no longer need. As the paper absorbs the water, visualize it dissolving, carrying away your burdens.

  6. Closing: Once you feel ready, take a few more deep breaths. Thank the water for its cleansing energy. Allow the candle to burn safely while you sit in stillness, reflecting on your intention and the space you’ve created for new energy to flow in.

  7. Disposal: After the ritual, you can choose to dispose of the paper by burying it, throwing it into a body of water, or letting it go with gratitude.

I honor my emotions, allowing them to flow like water.

Welcoming the transformation that nurtures my soul.

I witness my journey with love and compassion,

Grounded in the strength of my foundations.

Love,

Danielle xx
