Here is your meditation for the full moon :)

Let's begin,

The Hunter’s Moon on October 17th at 11:26 GMT marks the season of gathering and preparation in the Northern Hemisphere, traditionally helping hunters spot prey under its bright light. Also called the Blood Moon, Sanguine Moon, or Drying Rice Moon, it symbolizes both abundance and the need to prepare for the winter ahead.

Spiritually, the Hunter’s Moon invites reflection on what we need to gather in our lives—whether it’s resources, insights, or energy—and what we’re ready to release. It's a time of gratitude and letting go, preparing for the darker, quieter months.

What are you calling in?

The full moon serves as a powerful reminder of the ebb and flow of energy. It marks the midpoint of the lunar cycle, where we rise from the darkness of the new moon and see the fruition of our intentions.

In this phase, the seed that was planted earlier has taken root, and now the flower blooms, releasing its fragrance into the collective consciousness. These particles of wisdom and hope act as subtle reminders for others, connecting us in ways we may not always realize.

As the full moon shines its brightest, it also welcomes the onset of the second half of the cycle, where we gradually begin to release. This is a time of shedding all that is no longer aligned with our hearts, letting go of what no longer serves us as the light begins to wane.

In my practice, I connect the full moon to the element of fire and the direction of the south. Fire represents our ability to see clearly even in the darkest corners of our minds, illuminating the hidden aspects of our subconscious.

It is the force of transformation, with the ability to both destroy and create, offering warmth and light. Fire gives us the power to alchemize—burning down what no longer nourishes us and making space for new growth.

Moving south symbolically brings us to a place of warmth and deep nourishment. During the full moon, we can reflect on the past month's thoughts, dreams, and experiences, asking ourselves:

What has been revealed to us?

Often, these insights highlight areas where we feel out of harmony, signaling what needs our attention. What is the message being communicated through these moments? This may not yet be the time for release, but for seeing, for holding these realizations close until the moment of conscious release arrives.

Take this reflection, write it down, and place it on your altar.

Engage in a gratitude practice—sing, dance, and connect with the fire within you. Feel your life force as it pulses with the rhythm of the cosmos, aligning you with the universe and reminding you of your connection to all things.

Sidereal Astrology

The Moon in Pisces encourages you to explore your emotional depth and intuition, inviting you to connect with your creativity and compassion. This phase is a beautiful opportunity to discover what truly brings you joy without seeking approval.

Meanwhile, the Sun in Virgo emphasizes the importance of self-improvement and organization, prompting you to reflect on your daily rhythms and routines. However, be mindful of perfectionism and overthinking, as they can lead to self-criticism and overwhelm.

Sun in Virgo

☀️ Sun: Virgo

With the Sun in Virgo, there’s a focus on refining skills, self-improvement, and organization.

This energy encourages us to examine the rhythms of our lives—within ourselves, our families, and our communities. You may find yourself questioning your actions and patterns, noticing emotional intensity in children, experiencing disconnection or challenges in relationships, or recognizing a lack of time for self-care.

Imbalance during this time may manifest as perfectionism, excessive organization, or a struggle to allow for flow.

You might find yourself caught in a cycle of overthinking about what to implement or change, leading to self-criticism. Alternatively, you may feel overwhelmed and stagnant, reaching a point of exhaustion.

Reflection Question:

  • How would my day look if I created space for full presence?

  • What conscious and joyful choices can I make that support my evolution?

Moon in Pisces

🌕 Moon: Pisces

The Moon in Pisces brings the energy of water—deeply intuitive, emotional, and creative.

This placement enhances our ability to connect with others, nature, and the cosmos on a profound level, beyond the surface. Pisces energy seeks harmony and emotional flow, helping us to navigate our inner world with sensitivity and compassion.

When you feel ungrounded, disconnected, or apathetic—common signs of imbalance during this phase—it’s important to engage in activities that make you feel alive. Movement, art, singing, or exploration can help shift you out of your mind and into a somatic, embodied experience, reconnecting you with your inner flow.

Reflection Questions for Moon in Pisces:

  • What brings me joy without the need for approval or reward?

  • What activities allow me to enter a flow state, where time feels irrelevant and my creativity flows naturally?

Tarot Reading

Tarot Reading

  • (Main Message) The King of Swords reversed urges you to harness your quiet inner power with integrity, avoid letting ego or indecision cloud your judgment, and trust in the subtle guidance from within.

  • (Topic) The Seven of Wands symbolizes an area of your life where you feel you've gained greater understanding, but are still being challenged as you continue to explore it. Despite facing opposition or uncertainty, the message is to stand firm, trust your progress, and stay committed to defending what you've worked hard to achieve.

  • (Support) The Eight of Cups signals a need to walk away from an unfulfilling situation, recognizing that despite past emotional investment, it no longer serves your highest good. It encourages you to let go, even if it's difficult, and seek deeper emotional or spiritual fulfillment elsewhere.

MESSAGE: The King of Swords reversed invites you to embrace your inner power, even if it's quiet and not always visible to others. The butterflies on his throne symbolize transformation, reminding you that your personal growth happens from within. The crescent moons suggest you’re being subtly guided by intuition, while the angel near his ear signals that divine guidance is always close—though it may whisper rather than shout.

However, this card asks for caution in how you use your influence. Be mindful that your sharp mind and authority don’t turn into manipulation or harsh criticism. The still trees and settled clouds in the background show that the storm has passed, bringing stability, but also that you must use this calm wisely.

Avoid letting ego steer your decisions or actions.

Lastly, this reversed card can indicate mental fog or indecision. The once-clear skies of the upright King are clouded now, reflecting scattered thoughts. If you’re feeling lost or unsure of your path, the message is to find stillness, reconnect with your higher self, and move forward with clarity, rather than fear.

TOPIC: The Seven of Wands speaks of standing your ground in the face of challenges, especially after you've achieved some success. The man in the card is caught off guard, wearing mismatched shoes, symbolizing being unprepared for the fight ahead. After reaching a position of accomplishment, others may envy what you’ve achieved and try to bring you down. This can create a competitive and tense environment, requiring you to defend what you’ve worked for.

The card reminds you that the more visible you become, the more likely you'll face criticism or opposition from others. Be ready to hold your boundaries, especially if you're speaking up in a public space or holding a controversial opinion.

Challenges might also come from external sources that block your progress on a creative project or goal. This card encourages you to stay confident, establish clear boundaries, and protect your work and your position. It takes courage and persistence, but you have the strength to overcome any opposition.

SUPPORT: The Eight of Cups represents the need to walk away from a situation, thought, action, or environment that no longer brings you emotional fulfillment. In the card, a man turns his back on the cups, symbolizing past emotional investment, and heads toward the mountains, showing that this path will not be easy but is necessary for growth.

The cups are arranged in a way that suggests something is missing, reflecting your awareness that something important—on an emotional or spiritual level—is lacking in your current situation.

This card often appears when you're feeling disappointed or unfulfilled despite having put in time and effort. It could point to reassessing a relationship, job, or project that once brought you joy but now only causes depletion.

Even though leaving may bring sadness, staying no longer serves your highest good. The Eight of Cups asks you to acknowledge what is no longer working, stop avoiding the emotional weight of the situation, and move toward what truly fulfills you. It's a call to realign your life with what brings deep, lasting contentment, even if that means making difficult choices.

  • A fire-safe container (for burning paper)

  • Optional: crystals for clarity (e.g., clear quartz, moonstone)

Ritual Steps:

  1. Set the Space: Find a quiet area where you won't be disturbed. Light your candle and place it in front of you, representing illumination and clarity.

  2. Reflect and Write: Take a moment to reflect on what you wish to release. Write down any emotions, habits, or situations that no longer serve you on the piece of paper.

  3. Infuse with Water: Hold the bowl of water in your hands and visualize your intentions for release. Feel the weight of what you want to let go of.

  4. Release: Fold the paper and say aloud, “I release [what you wrote] under the light of this full moon.” Then, safely burn the paper in your fire-safe container, symbolizing transformation.

  5. Bless and Ground: Dip your fingers into the bowl of water, sprinkle a few drops around your candle, and say, “I welcome clarity and renewal.” Sit in silence for a moment, breathing deeply and feeling the energy of the full moon.

  6. Close the Ritual: Extinguish the candle, thanking the moon for its light and guidance. Optional: Carry your chosen crystal with you as a reminder of your intentions.

Aftercare: Take a few moments to journal about your experience or any insights gained during the ritual.
