NEW COLLABORATION
This week, I’m excited to welcome my sister Sian, who will join us with a tarot reading video to complement our sidereal astrology insights and ritual ideas. You can book an online reading with Sian at sianmaria.com. (Highly recommend)
The powerful message this week is to start the month with clarity. We’re entering a phase rich with energy for implementing our visions, yet we are not alone in this process. We can call on invisible support to help guide us forward. A theme that came through clearly in Sian’s reading—and has been resonating deeply with me—is patience. Like seeds we plant, some dreams may blossom tomorrow, while others may take years. Trust that everything blooms in its own time, exactly when it’s meant to.
Personal Note
After returning from a recent city trip for visa renewal, I’m reflecting on how disconnected humans have become from our biological roots. Surrounded by aisles of plastic-wrapped foods from far-off places, it felt as though we were deep within an artificial matrix.
These items travel incredible distances, come with extraordinary price tags, and feel so removed from the hands that nurtured them or the soil that grew them.
On top of this, news of the recent election is stirring up big emotions within our global collective. This energy is worth being mindful of, as it can easily infiltrate our own sense of peace and grounding. It’s a powerful reminder that, in many ways, our lives are shaped by decisions made by people we may not know, decisions that influence much of our world.
So, what can we do?
For me, it means holding onto a vision for humanity that’s rooted in authenticity and resilience, choosing to align with what feels true. This isn’t about passively accepting things as they are. Rather, it’s about courageously moving forward with clarity, recognizing that even in moments of illusion or suffering, we have the power to plant seeds for the future.
Every day, we can choose how we show up and direct our energy to contribute to something greater, a vision of what we’d like to see grow.
To stay grounded, I return to our biological roots. I will use the example of food. True nourishment goes beyond simply buying the most ethical, nutritious foods—it’s about a deeper connection. There’s a unique satisfaction in knowing where our food comes from, in gathering or growing it ourselves, and in deepening a relationship with the earth we live on.
It’s an honoring of nature, a way to reclaim our connection to the cycles of life.
Some of our visions may not bloom in our lifetime, yet each action, each choice we make with intention, becomes a seed of potential. Even in a world that can feel beyond our control, we can nurture change by staying connected to our roots and showing up authentically.
What does this look like for you?
Waxing Half-Moon Insights
The waxing half-moon arrives on November 9th, inviting us to embody the energy of spring and the Maiden archetype.
As we align with the energies of the waxing half-moon, we’re in a phase of planting seeds and implementing intentions. Just like a seedling reaching upward, we are invited to take those first tangible steps toward our goals, nurturing our intentions with care and patience.
This is a time to reemerge from the introspective depths of the dark moon, stepping back into the light with new insights to guide us forward. This energy is curious, fresh, and filled with the urge to explore the world, making this a perfect time to bring the wisdom gained from the shadows into the external world for both our growth and the collective good.
In this phase, ruled by the air element and the rising sun in the east, we’re encouraged to cleanse and uplift our minds, using our words and thoughts with intention. Rituals that connect us to the air—like chanting, prayer, or burning fragrant herbs—can help us set intentions with clarity and call in support from the unseen.
To align with the waxing moon’s light energy, consider these practices that spark joy and create spaciousness:
Dancing in the breeze
Singing or chanting
Exploring new places
Journaling to organize thoughts
Trying new tea blends for a fresh perspective
Filling your space with uplifting scents
This week is perfect for:
Setting and checking in with your intentions for the month
Creating plans for the weeks ahead
Dancing and exploring life in both the spiritual and physical realms

Sun in Libra
Sun in Libra: Finding Harmony and Anchoring in the Heart ♎
With the Sun shifting from Virgo into Libra this week, we’re invited to find greater balance and harmony in our lives. Libra’s energy encourages us to look around and ask: What feels a little—or a lot—out of alignment?
This is a moment to broaden our perspective, to see the many layers of reality.
Libra’s influence encourages us to stay anchored in the heart, even when life feels out of balance or unfair. It’s a reminder that we don’t always get to see the whole picture, yet we still have the power to respond with integrity, compassion, and alignment.
This week, if things feel unjust or unsettling, remember that there is often an unseen path, a possibility that has yet to reveal itself. We are not powerless; we hold the power to contribute from a place of love and intention.
With so many tools and perspectives available to us, it can feel overwhelming. Take this as a sign to slow down, to feel all the energies within you, and create a relationship with even the uncomfortable or painful ones.
Moving forward from this place of presence allows us to deeply understand what’s stirring within and to bring our vision for a new, balanced earth closer to reality.
Moon in Capricorn
Moon in Capricorn ♑️ Embracing Transformation & Taking Action
Welcome to a powerful phase of transformation, where the Moon in Capricorn invites us to spread our wings and bring our dreams into tangible action.
Capricorn Energy is all about responsibility, focus, and long-term commitment. It’s time to step forward and implement your intentions with grounded, disciplined energy.
Capricorn’s influence encourages us to move beyond blame or a victim mindset, offering instead the clarity to take ownership of our path. Combined with the Sun in Libra, this energy invites us to find balance as we commit to what truly matters.
This is an excellent time to pause, reflect, and realign with what feels essential to you.
Take a moment to ask yourself: What deserves my energy and focus right now?
Our priorities often shift, and that’s natural. Begin with yourself, noticing what feels like it needs your attention. This energy calls for introspection, a time to reignite the fire within and remember the “why” behind your actions.
It might be your health, relationships, career, creative projects, or finances—whatever it is, ask yourself why it’s meaningful to you and how you can fan the flames of inspiration to keep moving forward.
The Capricorn Moon also touches our emotional core, asking us to build a strong relationship with our more unsettling feelings. Instead of pushing them away, how can you hold them in a space of unwavering love and acceptance?

Waxing Half Moon Practice
Grounding and Releasing
Place Your Hands on the Earth: Rest your palms on the ground, feel connected, and breathe deeply. Imagine roots growing from your hands into the earth.
Reach Up to the Sky or Tree: If near a tree, place your hands on the trunk. If not, raise your arms to the sky. Feel the energy of the earth and sky above you.
Release What’s Too Heavy: Say quietly or in your mind: “I release what is too heavy for me right now. I ask the earth and sky to help me lighten my load.”
Feel the Release: Stay still, breathe deeply, and imagine the heaviness leaving your body, grounding into the earth or taken by the sky.
Thank the Earth and Sky: Close with gratitude for the release and support.
Complete the Practice: Gently remove your hands and feel the space you’ve created for new growth. Stand tall and light.
This simple practice helps release what no longer serves you, making room for your growth under the waxing moon. 🌕
Mantra:
"I honor the growth and momentum of the waxing moon. I plant my seeds with patience, trust in the process, and embrace the wisdom of the stars. I align my actions with the unfolding path, knowing that every step is a reflection of my vision, anchored in truth and love"
