A message from me:

This week, I recorded our monthly free Mothers' Circle. (RSVP to receive),

I began by sharing what is alive in me at this moment. I'm grieving the absence of the wild elders. That same evening, Maya Angelou came into my awareness. It felt strange, as I had downloaded her book last week after a recommendation, but hadn't thought much about it or begun reading it. (Blog: Maya Angelou: A Legacy of Resilience, Truth, and Rising)

As I listened to her recordings and poetry, I was moved to tears, realizing that her wisdom is here, available, and flowing through so many roots. Look for what you’re seeking - it’s there; just let go of the idea of how it ‘should’ look.

I feel deeply connected to her energy – to love fearlessly, create, share, and show up fully.

So many have bravely and courageously walked before us, and we are among them – we are here in these physical bodies to express, connect, and experience life in all its beauty ❤️

As we look ahead, next week will be marked by the Dark Moon, the Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake), and Imbolc. (Imbolc Celebration: A Journey of Hope and Renewal (Pre-recorded Ceremony)

Third Quarter Moon Energies

What were you shown during the Full Moon?

If insights didn’t come through at that time, reflect on what you’ve experienced in your health, mind, sleep, or external relationships – what was the theme?

The Waning Moon is associated with the energies of autumn—shedding and releasing, energy returning to your roots, and falling leaves nourishing the soil.

How is your inner energy?

Remember, just like everything comes in cycles, so do situations, projects, and healing. That’s why it may feel like we’re rising and falling, but we’re never going backward. We are always evolving and growing.

We can actively support this process by surrendering that which is preventing us from going inwards.

Practices for this phase:

  • Write down what no longer serves you.

  • Enjoy cozy, spiced drinks to keep a gentle fire burning.

  • Clear out and organize – your home, schedule, and mind.

Mars Retrograde: Reflect, Recalibrate, and Nurture Your Emotional Foundations

Mars, the planet of action, drive, and passion, governs our confidence, energy, and desire.

When Mars goes retrograde, which it did from December 6, 2024, and will continue until February 23, 2025, that energy turns inward, inviting us to slow down and reassess our motivations.

Shifting Perspectives

During Mars retrograde your desires and intentions may shift. This period may shine a light on past dreams that no longer serve you, leading to a questioning of your path. As these changes unfold, it may feel like you're “rocking the boat.” Sometimes, our visions and dreams can pull us out of the present moment, and if we’re not anchored in gratitude and presence, it can create resistance or a feeling of being stuck.

The key to finding balance is love—remembering your purpose and grounding yourself in the present.

Each moment is an opportunity to pour your energy into what you’re calling in. If things aren’t unfolding as expected, it’s easy to feel hopeless or like you're not moving forward. This is where love, presence, and gratitude come in—let them anchor you as you work through these shifts.

Is there a skill or knowledge you’ve been wanting to expand? Let your mind anchor in that, while your love moves you gently forward like a boat on the water.

Sidereal Astrology

Sidereal vs. Tropical Astrology

Sidereal astrology uses the real positions of the stars in the sky to create your chart. It differs from tropical astrology. Because the Earth’s position slowly shifts over time, sidereal astrology reflects where the stars actually are today, while tropical astrology keeps the zodiac signs fixed to the seasons. As a result, your zodiac sign might be different in sidereal astrology compared to tropical astrology.

Sun in Capricorn: Element Sign

Sun in Capricorn: Earth Element - Building on Long-Term Foundations

The Sun in Capricorn brings an earthy, grounded energy focused on building lasting foundations. The qualities of this sign include patience, trust, and tuning into the cycles of creation.

"The Sea Goat," to view life through the lens of ambition, seeing that which requires time, dedication, and persistence.

The Sea Goat is a mythical creature with the upper body of a goat and the tail of a fish. It symbolizes a unique blend of earthly ambition and mystical wisdom, highlighting traits like practicality, determination, and the balance between the material and spiritual worlds.

Right now, you’re being asked to step up. Remember, no one has the right to control you. You are connected to your light, and you are uncontrollable, wild, and liberated. Trust that this energy is pushing you towards growth—towards remembering your own strength and freedom.

Journal Questions:

  1. In what areas of my life am I being called to show more patience and persistence?

  2. What long-term foundations do I need to build or strengthen to support my future growth?

  3. How can I find balance between my material ambitions and spiritual wisdom?

  4. When do I feel the most liberated and wild? How can I invite more of that energy into my life?

  5. What does stepping up look like for me in this moment? How can I honor my strength and freedom?

Moon in Virgo (Earth Element)

Moon in Virgo

During this time, as we transition between the Full and Dark Moon, notice the strength that is holding you to show up fully. This time is asking us to show up in our full authenticity, to shine our light unapologetically.

Virgo, the Maiden, represents fertility, curiosity, and freshness. There is an energy of fearlessness in Virgo, an untouchable quality that allows us to focus, refine, and create with intention.

Virgo invites us to approach life with a sharp focus, and in this phase, we are being asked to challenge ourselves to show up with that same clarity and purpose.

Our worth is not dependent on the opinions of others. We are being called to see the truth, even if it’s not so appetizing or easy to digest. There is power in this clarity, in seeing things for what they are, no matter how uncomfortable.

Journal Questions:

  1. Where am I resisting showing up in my full authenticity? What would it feel like to let go of that resistance?

  2. How do I react when I shine my light unapologetically? What fears or insecurities arise?

  3. What truths am I avoiding, and how can I gently confront them?

  4. In what areas of my life am I allowing the opinions of others to define my worth? How can I release this dependency?

  5. How can I embody the strength and courage to embrace the full truth of who I am, no matter how challenging it may seem?

  6. How can I embrace the fearless, untouchable energy of Virgo to focus, create, and refine my intentions in this moment?

Waning Half Moon Ritual

As the Waning Half Moon in Virgo aligns with the Sun in Capricorn, invite a ritual of grounding and gratitude. Begin by calling in the support of your ancestors, the wise elders whose power lives in your bones, reminding you of your connection to generations that came before you.

Sit in stillness, feeling their presence beside you, and honor the cycles of growth and release that live within your lineage.

Offer a gift to the Earth—a small token of gratitude or something from nature—and place it gently upon the ground.

As you do, feel the energy of Virgo’s focus and Capricorn’s steady ambition stirring within you, aligning your intentions with the wisdom of the past and the cycles of creation.

Trust in the process of shedding and growing, and surrender what no longer serves you, offering it back to the Earth. Allow the wisdom of your ancestors to guide your path forward, grounded in the earth’s embrace.

See below for upcoming events, hope to see you there!!!!

Sending lots of Love,

Danielle xx
