Hi, I'm Danielle, a mother, trained nurse, and doula.
At Casa Madre, my mission is to restore postpartum care as an essential rite of passage. I offer support to mothers in the Sacred Valley of Peru through nourishing food, massage, emotional presence, and ceremony. Through your participation, 5–10% of each session goes directly toward providing free postpartum care for local Peruvian mothers, helping rebuild the village, one visit at a time.

Grassroots Vision
This is not a large-scale organization. It is a heart-led initiative rooted in trust, reciprocity, and deep listening.
5–10% of each paid session supports a local fund that allows us to offer free postpartum care to Peruvian mothers. Our long-term vision is to train local sisters in postpartum care, women who can continue to serve their communities with skill, presence, and cultural wisdom.
This support includes:
-
Soothing pregnancy massage and gentle care
-
Meeting each mother after birth
-
Listening deeply to her needs
-
Offering one full postpartum visit (massage, food, and light home care)
-
Following up with weekly check-ins for four weeks
This is not about imposing an idea of what postpartum care “should” look like. It is about being present with the mother and her family in the best way I know how, while learning from local mothers, midwives, and doulas, and honoring the practices already alive in this land.
If you know of local mothers who need support, please reach out. As we raise more funds, I will be able to offer care to more women and train additional sisters to walk this path of community-based postpartum support.
Casa Madre begins with one mother at a time, but together, we can extend the circle.
